Thank you - Audience

Thank you to everyone who came to see 'The Nutcracker' you made this event very exciting. The children were so absolutely thrilled to be in this ballet and, although what they are doing in the ballet is supposed to be a surprise it was difficult for lots or young dancers who just wanted to shout from the roof tops.

It was a special time here in the studio watching them learn their choreography and be fitted for their costumes. The chat every afternoon on the mat in reception was all about the ballet, special rehearsals and their characters. When they came out on stage to such a fantastic audience they were beyond proud. This was a gift and they certainly wanted to do their absolute best for you all.

Many of our young students have only experienced Araluen through years of lock-downs, restrictions, social distancing and wearing masks. These students are four years older and they all looked so happy and proud. It has been a long time since they have experienced the freedom of creativity and life as a child or an adolecent and be able to focus on such a wonderful story and a fabulous audience.
