It's all happening
The dancers from Darwin have arrived and welcomed into our studios - their home for the next week. We have 19 swags, air mattresses and lots of suitcases in studio 4 and Tiffanie has moved in to be with them and help where needed. Our Alice Springs dancers had a fabulous time staying in the Darwin studios for our Swan Lake Tour. The Dancers flew into Alice, walked straight into rehearsals and costume fittings. Dinner together, sorted out suitcases and beds and prepared for Sunday rehearsals in the Theatre - Monday they will catch their breath.
Ben flew in from Melbourne giving Miriam a full cast for her rehearsal which is looking fantastic and the musicians sounded amazing. Jasper is Stage Managing and looking forward to working with Daniel Sawyer who is returning to work with us on our 40th Anniversary Gala. We are very excited to have such a fantastic team working on what will showcase Araluen, Duprada Dance Company the fabulous creative people who live in our valued community.
Left - Frances and Violet hand sewing their Paquita Tutu overlays, there are so many little things to do during rehearsal sessions. The enthusiasm and generosity of the dancers is inspiring.
Below - Swags generously brought in by our wonderful 'Ballet Parents'. Thank you everyone
